Location

St Anne's is located in North Oxford with its main entrance on Woodstock road, but also accessible by students from Banbury Road. It's slightly further out of town than the cluster of traditional colleges in the heart of the city, but is less than a five minute bike ride or a ten minute walk from the centre, with local shops for day-to-day supplies. This peacefulness is a definite advantage in the peak season when Oxford is chock-a-block with tourists.

University Parks
University Parks

The beautiful university parks are literally on our back doorstep, where you can revise in the sun, have a kick about with friends or go for a walk by the lake. A minute walk down the multi coloured Observatory Street takes us to the trendy Jericho area, where we are spoilt for choice with places to suit all pockets for a drink or a bite to eat. Jericho has it all - an independent cinema, cocktail bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants, local supermarket, pharmacies and a health centre. Chinese takeaways, fish 'n' chips, indian, you name it... there's always something to tickle your taste buds, even our resident kebab van Ali's across the road occupies a special place in the hearts of many St Anne's students.

Little Clarendon Street
Little Clarendon Street

A two minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to North Parade which hosts several fashionable sandwich shops - popular for lunch on the run! The cosy Little Clarendon Street is also close by, complete with an ice-cream parlour, trinket shops and several cocktail bars, a favourite meeting place... especially during happy hour!
